This stone is great to meditate with if you wish to balance your chakras. Given its lushes green color, it’s most commonly used for heart chakra work and will enhance your positive experiences not just with the relationship you have with yourself, but with your relationships in general. It naturally absorbs negativity and is believed to protect you from psychic attacks on your spiritual journey. Also, know as the Gamblers stone it’s believed to bring extra luck into your life. It’s said that it helps wearers who suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder because the sparkly green color in the stone reminds us that spring is never too far away.
I made this Mala completely by hand. The beads are 8mm and there are 108 of them. Malas tend to have 108 beads because 108 is considered a sacred number in nature and in several religious beliefs. I tied a knot after each bead not only to make the necklace last longer but to give it a good hand feel for when you’re moving each bead through your fingers for prayer or meditation. Also, should in the even your Mala break you might lose one bead as opposed to all 108. It also has one silver bead called a guru bead which is symbolic of enlightenment. I chose white string for these not only because it made the beads really pop, but because it’s believed that white is the symbol of purity, new beginnings, and innocence.
If this necklace ever does break please know you can always send it back to me and I will restring it for the cost of shipping. Just shoot me an email to arrange it.
