What I Ate for St. Patrick’s Day!

Writer: Heather GreenHeather Green

St. Patrick’s Day brings out the Irish in all of us and I am no exception. For this “What I ate in a day” I’m giving my food a green festive theme. Normally I’d love to eat Bangers and Mash, or a nice slab of Corned Beef, but I’m trying to be good and eat healthy. I traded the heavy holiday foods in for lighter, green and gold colors that were still packed full of flavor and didn’t leave me feeling deprived.

You can find the recipe for the Split Pea Soup HERE.

I also included some little cuts from my old Irish record collection which got a workout, as well as a few snippets from a classic Irish movie that I watched.

This was just a really fun post and if you liked it, please be sure to leave me a thumbs-up and maybe even a follow! I appreciate you watching and I hope you have a wonderful day! -Heather Autumn Astaneh
