I read an article once saying that your sense of smell is the strongest maker of memories and if you think about it, that’s probably why the food you ate as a kid has a nice comforting effect when you smell it now as an adult. It doesn’t go away once you reach adulthood though, so if you’re looking to make some new memories this year, you’ll want to check out this Pot-pourri recipe I tried that will guarantee to get your whole house smelling like fall.
The reason I like this recipe is that just as your whole home can smell like what you cook in your kitchen, this spreads through the air as well. It’s also made of natural ingredients that you chose so you don’t have to wonder what you’re exposing your family to.

Directions:
All you have to do is put all of the ingredients in the pot of water. Bring it to a boil and then lower the heat to a simmer. That’s it! I would say that every so often you should check the water levels and if it’s getting low, just add more water!
My husband actually could smell it in his office and came down to ask if we could make this a fall tradition and of course, I agreed. I hope the same could be said for your home and family. If you tried this and liked how it turned out, let me know in the comments below! I hope you’re ready to start making some new memories, may you have a wonderful day.
