I have to pay special attention to my lips during the winter. The air get’s so dry and cold and then when you add hot drinks to that, they can get seriously chapped. Lips scrubs are one of the top ways I keep my lips soft and chap-free and this one brings back so delicious holiday memories.
When I think of Christmas cookies, the first one I think of is the humble sugar cookie. Growing up my family didn’t keep a lot of sweets in our home, but one thing that was a Christmas eve tradition was making sugar cookies with my mother and sisters.
She would let us crack the eggs and then she would mix the dough. She would then roll it out, and let us use cookie cutters to cut out cookies in all kinds of holiday shapes. We would then decorate them, and I can still remember the way the house would smell as she baked them.
I was so happy to find this lip scrub that not only leaves my lips super soft, but it takes me back to warm loving memories of Christmas’s past. I found the original recipe on WellnessMama.

1.) In a small bowl combine all of the ingredients and stir them together until they are well combined. You should be able to get the smell of sugar cookies right away!
2.) Use immediately, or store it in a 1/2 ounce glass jar. These make great little gifts!
To use, just apply it to your lips and rub it in. Rinse the sugar scrub off once you’re done. The sugar will exfoliate your lips and the coconut oil will keep them nice and soft and protect them from the cold. I hope you enjoyed this lip scrub as much as I did!
