Right now, it’s not feeling much like summer when you have to wear a mask, or maybe even gloves to go out. But nothing is stopping you from having a little summertime fun in your home and this delicious Pot-Pourri is just what you need.
Summer has a distinct smell. For me, I think of meat on the grill, pool water smell, suntan lotion and the beach. Even now, there are times especially right before or right after rain where the air reminds me of how summer camp smelled.
Just because you might be spending your summer inside, doesn’t mean you can create great memories, or great smells to go with those memories and this Pot-Pourri is easy to make. All you need is the following:

Just pop all those lovely things in a pot with a few cups of water. Bring the pot to a boil and then reduce the heat down to a simmer. The smell should fill your house as long as it’s simmering. If the water gets low, just refill it from time to time. As always, use proper fire, kitchen, and stove safety.
I hope you really enjoy this recipe. Please let me know how it went in the comments below! I hope this makes your home smell delicious and you’re able to make some beautiful memories around that smell. Have a wonderful day! -Heather Astaneh
